Loov.timber Plantation Shutters

There’s something about the feel of timber in your home. It’s warm, inviting, and premium.

Being a natural product, timber also makes you feel warm in winter and cool in summer.

Timber is super strong and light. Not only is it sturdier than other materials, it’s also easier to fold and slide, and open and close.

Loov.timber Plantation Shutters are our most versatile product – this means you can have your shutters custom made in the shape, size or colour that’s right for your home.

Applications

Choose from four different installation types for your Loov.timber Plantation Shutters. Hinged panels are a popular choice as they allow you to fully open your shutters for a clear view and easy access to your windows for opening, closing and cleaning them. Sliding and Bi-Folding shutters give you control and are perfect for sliding doors by covering and uncovering doors and openings. Fixed panels are commonly used in hard-to-reach places or where both sides of the shutter are visible.

Blade Options

Loov.timber Plantation Shutters are available in a wide range of blade options to perfectly suit your windows and help achieve the style you’re after. Larger blades will offer a better view when open because there is less of them per panel. This gives you a modern look and lets more light in whereas smaller blades provide a classic and traditional appearance. Pair flat blades with a centre tilt rod for a coastal, resort feel.

Tilt Rod Options

A tilt rod works by connecting the blades of the plantation shutter together so they can be rotated as group and in some applications can act as an operating bar to open, close and tilt the blades. This allows you to control your privacy and sunlight into the room. For a more traditional look, choose a Centre or Offset tilt rod which is a narrow, colour matched rod that is attached to the front of the shutter panel. If an unobstructed view is important, we recommend the Clearview tilt rod which is an aluminum rod discretely placed on one edge of the blades at the back of the panel.
